This Chess board, Chess and Backgammon compendium is made by the Oldest sports and games company in the world. It was in 1849 when John Jaques the second recognized the need for what no other turner had achieved before him – a classic yet simple chess design in Chessmen. This polished Mahogany Chess and Backgammon cabinet size (15” x15”), features an Inlaid decorated Maple and Walnut chess board with inlaid backgammon game board on the reverse. The set includes boxwood baized bottom Staunton chessmen, heavyweight backgammon men, dice and shaker cups and comes complete with game rules.
